SEAM Meeting: Carbon Emissions of Structural Systems

SEAM will be hosting a dinner seminar featuring a recorded NCSEA webinar discussing Carbon Emissions of Structural Systems.

Learning objectives:

    • Review the CO2 emissions of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood construction, as well as building construction in general.
    • Discuss how to reduce the emissions in practical ways.
    • Review a methodology to determine the approximate annual heating energy usage of a building based on construction and site factors.
    • Compare CO2 emissions from initial construction to annual emissions from heating energy.

This webinar is Diamond Reviewed. However, it is not accredited in New York, where seminars must be live.*
