Our ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and be proficient in all aspects of building design, including new construction, gut renovations, and historic rehabilitation. Applicant must have experience designing prestressed concrete, structural steel, cast-in-place concrete and wood projects and an in-depth knowledge of IBC Code. The ability to develop, foster, and grow relationships for project assignments is an important aspect to the role. Strong technical and communication skills and demonstrates initiative. Experience in Revit Structure and AutoCAD is desirable.

Qualifications:

Structural Engineer/Project Manager, Camden, Maine

Gartley & Dorsky Engineering & Surveying is seeking a motivated, team-oriented Structural Engineer/Project Manager for a full-time position starting immediately. Responsibilities include structural analysis, structural design, field inspections and associated reports, construction documents, construction administration, project management and other related tasks.

Candidates should have a PE license and experience managing structural engineering projects. Candidates should be versed in timber, steel and concrete design. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, RISA, Enercalc (or similar software) required. Experience with AutoCAD and Revit preferred. Excellent communication skills and organization required.
