You
are cordially invited to join the Structural Engineers Association of
Maine (SEAM), a non-profit organization established to pursue common
interests of practicing structural engineers and others sharing an
interest in the activities of structural engineers.
Dinner meetings are held monthly
in the southern Maine
area at various locations. Each meeting will provide an opportunity to
hear a guest speaker or presentation on a relevant topic as well as
reports on other member activities and issues of interest to our
profession. We also sponsor half and full day technical seminars at
reduced rates as a service to our membership.
Admission to SEAM is through the
attached application.
Licensed professional engineers who are registered to practice
structural engineering in the State of Maine are admitted as Members
upon application. Individuals sharing an interest in the activities of
SEAM and engineering students may qualify for admission as Associate
Members upon application and approval.
SEAM is a member of the National
Council of Structural
Engineers Associations (NCSEA). SEAM members receive all benefits
provided by NCSEA including the quarterly publication Structures
Magazine.
The SEAM Board of Directors look
forward to receiving your
application. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to
contact any one of the Association
Directors.
