October, 2009: SEAM recently received the following request for volunteers from the State of Maine on behalf of the Technical Building Codes and Standards Board for participation on Building Code Technical Advisory Groups (TAG).  For more information on the Technical Adivsory Groups please see our Technical Resources page or contact a SEAM Board Member.

SEAM established a Code Advisory Committee in December of 2007 to review the Draft Recommendation Proposal  prepared by the Maine State Planning Office (SPO) Building Codes Implementation Plan Committee (Resolve 46), and to address Building Code issues at the Statewide Building Code legislative process evolves in the State of Maine.  For more information about this committee and opportunities for member involvement, please contact a SEAM Board Member.
